These are just a few situations when Outdoor IS comes to life. It's everything a tourist needs to feel comfortable in your town.
Information about events, locations, accommodation, weather etc. All displayed on a stylish touchscreen with a very intuitive and straightforward user interface.
From a two-level menu users may select a location category that he/she is interested in. Each location is presented as a pin on the map, a “business card” with basic information and a brochure. The brochure is meant to be a digital copy of the printed version.
It has an integrated advertising system that lets you display full screen FULL HD videos and images. Small banners can be displayed in the “status bar”, ads can even be seamlessly integrated into events roll and locations.
In emergency situations it is always important to get the right information as soon as possible. Outdoor IS has a special “Emergency” button that displays 
all important phone numbers or maps with needed facilities. Optionally, there can also be a direct audio connection with an emergency call center.
Unfortunately some emergency situations are relevant for all the people in town. In these cases full screen messages can be displayed on all screens with Outdoor IS. This comes in handy when natural disasters occur, such as earthquakes, fires, floods etc.
