Indoor IS
People are always heading towards constructing more and more complex buildings.
These days they are almost like real labyrinths. Imagine a building where thousands of people work.
How do you find one person? This is where Indoor IS kicks in.
It simplifies navigating indoors. That can simply mean searching for a specific person, office, fair parcel, school hall – you name it!
The basic version consists of a few parts:
Floor map
Each floor is represented as a rotatable 3D map. You can easily build your own using the free Google SketchUp application.
Later in the admin section of indoor IS, you may add labels or symbols (emergency exits, fire extinguishers etc.) and connect each room with specific information (who is working there, which company is showing there, what events are happening there).
For better search results, the map is integrated with an intelligent autocomplete search with basic filters . Specific locations can also be highlighted, so some may find them even without searching.
Events Schedule
A straightforward event calendar helps your visitors attend events that may
be interesting to them. To set an event calendar you simply enter event descriptions including the date and hour. Users may also set an alarm that will pop up on all info screens.
Advertisement Full screen ads may be displayed when there is no user interacting with the machine. Full HD videos and images are supported. Ads might also be integrated into the events schedule (to highlight a specific event) and as banners that are connected to specific locations on the map.
